Ru-Tsu

Ru-Tsu follows snowboarder Tamo Campos on an educational journey to learn about his Japanese ancestry and his activist roots. Through reflections with his grandfather, award-winning scientist, environmentalist and broadcaster, David Suzuki, this personal film dives into themes of intergenerational trauma, passionate activism, and a family’s deep love of nature. This film is a rare look inside the family of one of Canada’s most recognizable environmentalists, and the stories unravel the history that shapes their past, present, and future.

Fish Farm Occupations

After 30 years of peaceful opposition, indigenous nations of western “Canada” have had enough and have begun occupations of illegal fish farms to disrupt their operations. A call has been made to occupy the offices of the ruling New Democractic Party (NDP) of “British Columbia” to help put an end to the harmful practice of fish farms, that endangers the local salmon populations. 

Iskut Confronts Colorado Resources

In the past few years, when not busy occupying salmon farms, blockading LNG terminals and documenting grassroots struggles with their cameras, Tamo Campos and Jasper Snow Rosen still managed to score some quality waves and hike some very nice mountains right here in BC and Alaska....and a little bit of Japan!
